Røøsland (alias Europa) -- Verdandi, one of the Norns
Née le 17 avril 1997 à la Chatterie Saskkats. Sa mère se nomme «Luna» et son père, «Carl». L'écrivain T.S. Eliot nous apprend dans son «Old Possum's book of practical cats», que les chats ont trois noms: un pour tous les jours, un autre plus personnel et finalement, un troisième que seul le chat connaît. Le troisième nom de Røøsland m'est donc inconnu. Røøsland est un mot danois, dont l'orthographe a été modifié, signifiant «Russie»; j'ai choisi ce nom pour célébrer son merveilleux pelage parsemé de rouge. Vous devrez cependant découvrir vous-même qui sont les «Norns» et tout particulièrement «Verdandi». Un petit indice inspiré d'une conversation avec Lorraine Forsyth: «une femelle écailles de tortue s'avère une nécessité dans une maison».
Born the 17th April 1997 at the Saskkats Cattery. Her mother is named «Luna» and her father, «Carl». In his famous book, «Old Possum's book of practical cats», T.S. Eliot mentionned that cats always have three names: one for every day use, the other more personal and finally, a third which is only known by the cat itself. Røøsland's third name is therefore unknown to me. Røøsland is a modified Danish word meaning «Russia»; I choose that name to acknowledge her wonderful coat scattered with red spots. You will have to discover by yourself who are the «Norns» and in particular, «Verdandi». Just a hint inspired by a conversation I had with Lorraine Forsyth: «a tortie female is a necessity in a house».
