Drawings made with this applet exhibit self-similarity : small parts of the drawing contain a scaled-down version of the entire drawing. Unlike fractals, however, each scaled down version reflects the state of the entire drawing at the time the part was drawn. Hence, each stroke of the mouse records the evolution of the drawing over time.
